uMsinga Municipality Community Services Director Hiring Requirements:-

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Management or equivalent qualifications (NQF 7). • Post Graduate qualification (NQF Level 8) will be an added advantage. • Certificate in Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP) or Certificate Programme in Municipal Development (CPMD). A valid Drivers’ License. . • Minimum 5 years’ experience at middle management level in the Public Sector preferably in Local Government environment backed by a sound knowledge of Disaster Management, Sports and Recreation, Fire Services, Traffic Services, Special Projects. • Knowledge of Local Government sector, legislations, policies, regulations, standards, and procedures. Legibility in terms of the competence Framework for Senior/ Section 56 Managers as promulgated by the Minister. Corporate Government and Traditional Affairs. • Excellent Computer Skills • Strategic thinking. Planning, Prioritizing and Effective Communication Skills are essential.
