Cape Town Municipality Senior Legal Advisor Hiring Requirements:-
Requirements
• A Law degree and admission as an Attorney or Bar Advocate (passed bar examination)
• A minimum of 5 years (Senior Legal Advisor) and 3 years (Legal advisor) post-admission experience in a relevant legal environment
• Proven civil litigation experience, specifically evictions and high court interdicts (Legal Advisor)
• Legal research, advisory and legal drafting skills
• Sound Knowledge of local government, legislation, policies and procedures
• Computer literacy in MS Office Suite and SAP
• Valid Code EB driver’s license
• Experience in one or more of the following disciplines will be an added advantage: administrative law, , procurement law, alternative dispute resolution, labour law, criminal law, conveyancing, environmental and property
