Procurement Excellence and Governance Manager vacancies in Cape Town Municipality

Cape Town Municipality Procurement Excellence and Governance Manager Hiring Requirements:-

•  Relevant B degree in Supply Chain Management/Finance/ Public Sector Management/Legal/BuiltEnvironment/ Auditing/Risk or Equivalent
•  A minimum of 5 years’ sound management experience relevant to the field of procurement in the management KPAs for this position
•  A minimum of 8 years’ professional Audit/Governance/Procurement/SCM experience with knowledge and expertise relevant to procurement excellence frameworks, governance, risk, e-procurement strategy development and SCM value chain integration
•  MFMA minimum competence training (15 unit standards) for SCM officials (if not in possession of this qualification, the incumbent will have to acquire it within 18 months from commencement of service)
•  Relevant strategic experience in the public sector is preferred and will be advantageous
•  Good track record for managing projects ideally including projects that are cross functional and transversal in nature as well as SCM strategy/SDBIP directed projects in support of procurement excellence
•  Experience in strategy development and management and the management of risks evident in governance structures, process and policy application
•  Experience in driving the management of change and SCM
  staff adherence to standard SCM practices through utilising a procurement model of excellence
•  Experience in facilitation and directing a customer centric stakeholder management plan including external stakeholders (service providers, the public, government departments, etc.) as well the facilitation of sessions with internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and integration of efforts
