Govan Mbeki Municipality Senior Engineering Technician Hiring Requirements:-


















Minimum Requirements:


    

  • Grade 12
    
 National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Equivalent qualification
    
 B Degree will be an added advantage
    
 Professional registration with ECSA
    
 Valid code B driver’s license
    
 Computer literacy in Microsoft package (Excel, Word, etc.)
    
 Knowledge of engineering software (Civil design, AllyCAD, Caddie etc.)
    
 Interpersonal and communication skill
    
 5-8 years’ experience in Roads and stormwater design, construction and maintenance
    • 



Key Performance Areas:

Compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports

 Check, administer and prioritize complains on the system

 Control and Monitor sectional budget and expenditure

 Identify, Investigating and analysing Roads and Stormwater Project

 Preparation of business plans and technical reports for sourcing of funds

 Design and overseeing Roads & Storm water projects

 Personnel Management

 Implementation of Health and safety Act

 Compilation and Evaluation of Technical guidelines
